
Objective:
The objective of this project is to provide multidisciplinary training in CAD/CAM and change the current industrial environment from analogue to digital. The central or hub institute, NIDA, is planned to "Train the Trainers” for the other centres in Pakistan and provide basic as well as professional CAD/CAM training. NIDA will serve as a Common Facility Centre (CFC) for design and development and will work on the benchmarking of related industries. The ‘Trained Trainers’ will populate other CAD/CAM centres and also find jobs in industry as expert professionals.
National Institute of Design and Analysis (NIDA) has established linkages with National / International Engineering and Design Institutions and universities.
Since its inception, NIDA has trained over 8500 skilled work force in CAD / CAM technologies. Students certified by CAD/CAM Centres are working in different sectors of industry and providing valuable services to economy of Pakistan. Many of of our certified students are working abroad and sending precious foreign remittances.
