Computer-based 2D-3D Drafting

Introduction:
Product design and development is a comprehensive processes, starting from concept through design, analysis, prototyping and testing to manufacturing data generation. Geometry in the form of drawings and models plays a core character throughout the process of product development. This course teaches the concept of geometry and its representation in 2D & 3D.

  • Participant Profile:
    This course is designed for engineers, technicians and diploma holders aiming to develop enough knowledge of professional level drawings and dimensioning.
    Instructor Profile:
    A team of experienced and highly qualified professionals in design and manufacturing will conduct this course.
    Methodology:
    The course will be delivered through lectures, multimedia presentations, videos and hands-on practice on modern CAD/CAM specific computers.
    Learning Outcome:
    Participants will be able to understand and produce complex 2D part & manufacturing drawings. They will also be able to make 3D models and drawings of machine components.
