CAD/CAM for Product Development
by NIDA - Karachi
Introduction:
CAD/CAM has become a necessary tool for industries involved in product development and production of precision parts. For example, quick 3D modeling, automated drafting of engineering components, assembly and manufacturing verification are a must to minimise 'time to market' in todays competitive product development cycle. This course will focus on uses of production-level solid modeling and machining. Students will learn how to create 3D models of parts, view and edit them interactively and create 2D layouts from the 3D models and produce NC data for machining. |
