Introduction:
Interior space needs to be designed according to the nature of activity performed there. Different types of interior spaces such as housing, hospitals, mosques, plazas, colleges and offices have differing functions where interior space needs to be defined and designed to make it liveable, enlightened and lively. In this course modern concepts & ideas of interior design and development will be emphasized. Basic concepts of space, volume, scale and its interrelationship with exterior and interior décor and architectural space will be discussed.

Local materials used in interior finishes
Execution/development sequence in interiors
Role of lighting in different interior spaces

Participant Profile:
Individuals interested in joining building industry and individuals already working in architectural, construction & design firms may join this course. Interested participants are expected to have basic CAD skills
Instructor Profile:
A team of experienced and highly qualified professionals in architecture and graphic design is conducting this course.
Methodology:
This course is delivered through lectures, multimedia presentations, videos and hands-on practice on modern CAD/CAM specific computers.
Learning Outcome:
Participants will have clear image about the interior, its importance in building spaces, have complete understanding of different interior functions, have full command on local materials and applications. They will have full understanding about graphical presentation of interior drawings and have basic understanding of hard landscape features. Knowledge gained in this course will give individuals flexibility to join interior design, development and project management.
