Faculty Required for National Institute of Design and Analysis by NIDA - Lahore

NIDA (National Institute of Design and Analysis) has published the advertisement shown below seeking to compile a database of visiting faculty for five Advanced CAD/CAM Centres. This advertisement has also been published in National Newspapers.

NIDA wishes to expand its visiting faculty at the Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Sialkot and Quetta centres and has requested applicants to read the advertisement and then move to the ONLINE ONLINE EMPLOYMENT FORM. The applicants should simply fill out the form online and click the 'Submit Form' button to email it to NIDA for processing. All applications will be acknowledged. The applicant may print out a copy, if desired, using the 'Print' button.

After processing, NIDA will only contact those shortlisted with further instructions or progress regarding their application.

The courses offered at NIDA cover basic to advanced design techniques applicable in all segments of industry ranging from engineering to garments

NIDA has conducted over 80 design related training programmes, imparting training to a workforce of more than 1500 trainees within a short span of one year. NIDA enhances skills of not only the industrial workforce but also students, entrepreneurs, professionals etc.

We are in process of expanding our training activities and looking for highly qualified instructors for five NIDA centres (Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Sialkot) who are able to conduct various training courses as visiting faculty. Professionals having expertise in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

Product Design:
Consumer Electronics, Automotive Design, Light/Heavy Machinery Design, Ceramic Design, Furniture Design, Garment Design, Fashion Design, Jewellery Design

Plant and Process Design:
Piping System Design, Plant Layout Design, Chemical/Thermal Process Design, Pressure Vessel Design or other Plant Equipment Design

Parametric Design & Analysis:
Robust Design, Reliability, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, Stack-up Analysis, Material Selection in Design, Static & Dynamic Analysis, Finite Element Analysis

Built Environment:
Construction Design, Architecture, Building Services Design, Commercial Interior Design, Residential Interior Design, Project Planning

Manufacturing & Tooling Design:
Design for Manufacturing, Finishing Processes, Die Design, Mould Design, Machining Tool Design, Forming Tool Design

Graphic Design:
Animation Design, Game Design, Web Design, Print Media, Multimedia and Digital Video
