Computer based 2-D/3-D Drafting Techniques

Introduction:
This programme takes step by step approach to learn 2-D/3-D Drafting, starting with basic tools to let participants create and edit a simple drawing which will gradually proceed to more advanced through hands-on practice on computer in drawing different views of components like top, side and front view. This course will prepare participants to develop a career in Computer Aided Design systems. |
| Course coverage:
Concept of geometrical shapes
Introduction to standard drawings and drafting
2-D & 3-D concepts by CAD
Understand and apply the different solid modelling techniques
Understand the use of viewing 3-D objects commands |
Participants Profile:
Engineers,Associate Engineers, Draughtsman and professionals are encouraged to attend.
Methodology:
Lectures, Discussions, Exercises, Case-Studies and hands-on practice on modern computers will take place.
Pre-requisites:
Knowledge of basic computer applications, engineering design and manufacturing is required for the course. |
