Computer Aided Drafting at NIDA - Sialkot by TUSDEC

Introduction:
Drafting is the science of size information which is added to an object in order to build it physically. This course will cover all techniques (according to ASME 14.5M 1994 standard) of engineering drafting using CAD software with emphasis on following contents:
Course coverage:

Introduction to drafting and geometrics

Detailed explanation of dimensioning terminologies

Standard rules for placing dimensioning terminologies

Creating detailed drawings of 3-D objects

Generating and editing texts and line styles

Dimension types and dimensioning & tolerance techniques

Schedules, manufacturing instructions, symbols, balloons, hatching techniques

Participants Profile:
Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Associate Engineers, Draughtsman and the professionals involved in drafting activities having good working knowledge of computers and strong geometric concepts
Methodology: Lectures, Discussions, Exercises, Case-Studies and hands-on practice on modern computers will take place
Pre-Requisites:
Knowledge of basic computer applications and machine components is required for the course
